Green Smoothies!!

A while ago I stumbled on this website... http://therawdivas.com/ ... It is a website all about the raw food diet.  They have a free 7day raw food detox program for woman... blogs.. Q&A.  The woman who run this site are amazing.  They are there to answer any questions you have weather you have been eating the raw food way for a while or you are just getting interested in introducing it into your lifestyle.  I have picked up on the GREEN SMOOTHIES!!! They are delicious and do so many amazing things for you body and mind!

So I made made one of my own... a GREEN BANANA SMOOTHIE...

2 handfuls of baby organic spinach
3 leaves of romaine lettuce
2 Bananas
1 Orange
1 cup of Tropicana Trop50 - Pineapple Mango Juice

This recipe makes about 2 glasses (the size that is in the picture)
1 glass = 276 calories
                           71 carbohydrates
               33 sugars

It is so delicious.. not to mention it gives you that extra boost you need in the morning! :)

Blackhawk Church.. the first church that has ever made to cry happy tears!

A couple of months ago David and I started going to Blackhawk church.  This is the perfect church for us to attend because David and I were raised in different denominations (David=Lutheran and I= Catholic).  Blackhawk has a more nondenominational focus. They take the books of the bible and then apply them to the world we are living in today. This church has a cafe service that we attend.  It has a video feed of that day's message and has louder, more electric music with coffee available in the room.... The songs that they sing make a cry EVERY time.. But I love love love this church and I'm SO happy we have found it!

This month Blackhawk is doing a series about sex... which has been a PERFECT series for David and I to attend .. since we do have a strong relationship with our God and want to keep that relationship growing.  This past Sunday they were talking marriage and sex.  When you get married your bodies belong to each other and that you need to love and respect those bodies.  At the end of the service last night they had a video clip of Columbia Bible College and Seminary President Robertson McQuilkin talking about his devotion to his wife in sickness and in health.... just a warning get tissues because you will cry.

.

While watching this movie I had David next to me and all I could think about is ... this is the man I get to marry and I know this is how he will treat me and I for him when we start to feel the signs of aging.  I am SO lucky and proud to have a man like him (and his family) in my life!

♥So Blessed♥
